The peace of God

He gave me the peace of God
he gave me the peace that never ends
he gave me an everlasting rest that I can take part in right now
he gave me something that will never end he gave me a home
he gave me a heart
he gave me a new body
he gave me a new mind and he told
me to come and take part in the peace of God
the peace of God that never ends that I'll never give away to anything
that will never fall down to stress
that will never fall down to heartache
Peace my friends, be still.

No longer under the Law

We are no longer under the law. But we need to see the importance of this statement by Jesus.
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. (Matthew 5:17 NKJV)

We now have Jesus in us. Let us seek not to destroy the law but to fulfill it.
I don't think anyone can fulfill the law as Jesus did, but why not try ?

Lets not become self righteous religious people. But let us be truly righteous, by following the King of Glory and the lover of our souls.

"For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:20 NKJV)"

Jesus is the most interesting man on the planet and He valued the Law and the Prophets who spoke of His coming and the times to come.
Let us as Christians follow suit.

A shifting of the eyes

It's insane that my health my emotion my spirit are all dependent on where my eyes are fixed. If they rest on the world and its troubles, it's lack of hope, it's brokenness and its apathy I become a creature of that world.

But if I shift my eyes to Jesus, my heart is flooded with light that causes the darkness of the world that was living there to flee. It was as if the darkness never existed at all. I am one again, with the ONE.

I feel like Jesus didnt just die to do away with sin, he did it so I could relate to him and he to me.
Just as he shifted his eyes to his disciples and told them "follow me" I can shift my eyes to him again and again and say " I surrender"

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy that was set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. (Hebrews 12:1-3 NIVUK)"

True peace only comes through true authority

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’ Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. (Mark 4:39 NIVUK)

Be strong and courageous

Sometimes being strong means admitting you are weak.
Being courageous means admitting you are scared.

Anytime I'm in a night season or dark period of whatever you want to call it. My faith is wavering, my peace has left me. My soul is downcast . There is but one solution. Admitting that I need Jesus and I need to surrender to him.

With Jesus comes his spirit.
And where the SPIRIT is there is freedom, peace, joy, love unfailing and eternal glory.

I give up, I cry out and admit I need Jesus.
I surrender and all of heaven pours into me, out of the mouth of God comes his Spirit which fills me anew.

The night season has passed, I wasn't a dictionary example of being strong or courageous. But in the kingdom you lean not on your own understanding, you don't run on your own energy. You are a son or daughter of the king. Your authority comes from him and your strength and courage are made perfect in him.

Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. (Job 13:15 NKJV)

Hard times

We are promised trials and tribulation and suffering and persecution and so on. Those are all good things, that will help us grow into the fullness of Him that we suffer for. But he has much more planned for you.

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20 NASB)

The commissioning is not the most important part of this passage for me anymore, it is the Promise that Jesus will always be with me.

Thank you Lord that you are with me in every storm, in every challenge and every valley and you always see me through.

Open your eyes

Open up your eyes.
Let your mouth be a wellspring of life
Let your love be a pure river
Flowing from your heart and into the lives around you.
Let your spirit be filled by THE SPIRIT.

Take heart, for Jesus has overcome.
Jesus is not a curse word.
He is THE WORD !

Open your eyes to see Him
Open your heart and let Him in.
He can make all your dreams come true
And give you better dreams than you can
Come up with on your own.
He is all and you are in Him.

Don't trip out on religion and philosophy
Trip out on the FACT that you are 100% connected to Jesus.
The Author of Life and Perfecter of Faith

To Him, give everything you have.

Amen

A new thing

"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
Isaiah 43:19

Tonight God revealed to me that he is always up to something. His kingdom is not stagnant and idle. It will continue to grow into eternity. JESUS CANNOT BE STOPPED.  Even if we are afraid and not willing to follow where or how the Holy Spirit is leading. The Spirit cannot be stopped, nothing will stop the progress and breakthroughs of heaven on the earth.
God is going to the dry places and splashing them with the Living Water and with the joy peace and love of his Holy Spirit. Jesus is being made famous. We are in a time when everyone will hear the good news, that death has been defeated, that the accuser now stands condemned by the righteous judgement of God.

If you feel that God is not doing anything in your life or the lives around you, it's not because the Holy Spirit isn't doing His job. It might be because you aren't letting Him do his job. Which is To help you !

Have Peace , be still. Let the counselor be your friend. Invite him into your life and give him control.

He only says what the Father tells him, and the Father is always moving and always doing something New.

"Nevertheless, I am telling you the truth. It is for your benefit that I go away, because if I don't go away the Counselor will not come to you. If I go, I will send Him to you."
John 16:7

God is doing something new right now ! WONT You PERCEIVE IT ?

Blessings to you who are reading this.
And all glory and power and honor to the one True King.
JESUS
Amen

Jesus , it's all about Jesus

The Church is not a building.
It's a body , Jesus is the Head.
Religion was made by man, but true religion can only be found in Jesus.
it's easy to get caught up in theology, something also made by man.
If something confuses you about Christianity or Religion, ask Jesus about it. He has a way of clearing things up and showing you the truth. That its all about Him.

I don't know why I wrote this or who I wrote it for.

I just want everyone to know Jesus and to see what He can do for them.
Once you see all He has to offer, you may want to ask what you have to offer Him.

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Come to Him, He's waiting.

The supremacy of Christ

Jesus is bigger than your problems.

"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven." (Colossians 1:15-20 NASB)

Jesus tells it like it is

Remember what I told you: I am going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really loved me, you would be happy that I am going to the Father, who is greater than I am. I have told you these things before they happen so that when they do happen, you will believe. “I don’t have much more time to talk to you, because the ruler of this world approaches. He has no power over me, but I will do what the Father requires of me, so that the world will know that I love the Father. Come, let’s be going. (John 14:28-31 NLT)

Jesus makes it clear that satan has no power over Him. If Jesus lives in us then satan has no power over us.

Amen

Priestly Worship

This is a little explanation and some of my thoughts on worship in the Christian church today.
It is intended for anyone in the church or outside of it, but will probably be most beneficial to those involved in worship ministry.

I have been actively involved in what Christians today call "worship" for about 15 years now.  Both my parents were part of the worship team at my original home church for years and my dad still plays weekly on the worship team.  Over the years there have been worship leaders and musicians that I've shared Sunday mornings with in musical worship who have taught me valuable lessons on ushering the body or congregation into an encounter with God in which they can give Him all the glory and attention He deserves.
There is however one approach to worship that I learned and developed independently of other worship team members and learned from both studying the Word and just spending quality time with Jesus and worshipping.

Priestly Levitical Worship is what I seek when I prepare for a Sunday service or any sort of gathering involving musical worship.
I call it this because I believe when we are preparing songs and praying over our services as worship leaders, we are preparing the church or tabernacle or the physical bodies of each member which house the Holiness of God to truly worship Jesus.

For me setting up sound equipment, tuning my guitar, organizing practices and reworking set lists,  photocopying sheet music and soaking it all in prayer is  preparing the altar for a sacrifice, just as the Priests of the Old Testament did. Once the worship set starts the fire is lit and  all my time, work and sacrifice is offered up to The Lord as I lead the body in worship.

"And the priest shall burn all on the altar as a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord." (Leviticus 1:9 NKJV)

It's good to be musically pleasing and to play songs that your congregation can more easily worship to but every time I lead worship my eyes close and I am alone with Jesus and He is pleased with the aroma of my worship because I don't try and give him something I don't have. I am content just being with Him and letting my love flow.

Thankfully Jesus the High Priest over all creation performed the final sacrifice on our behalf and we no longer have to rely on the Levitical codes and laws.

Our love is a pleasing aroma to our Lord.
