a new thing

Isaiah 43:19

See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
    and streams in the wasteland

It is God who spoke the world into existence,

it is God who sees every one of his creations simultaneously,

the now, the then, the forever...

He never ends and he has no beginning be cause he is the one who called the beginning into existence,

why does humankind forget these truths ?

because man thinks himself a god when he was made in the creators image.

God is doing a new thing,

who knows what it will look like and who has the wisdom to counsel God or understand his precepts ?

i tell you the truth, many have come before me, but what is to come will be greater than anything prophesied,

the Lord is the new thing, he is better than any that has walked the earth before his ministry or after.

Praise you Jesus.

God

I don't need to know where God is or what He is doing. He's with me, He's for me.

I wake up in the presence, God watched me all night, making sure I was safe.

He helped me get out of the grave I dug for myself.

He covered me in grace.

He bought me salvation, it's mine for the taking.

He calls me home.

Everyday is a opportunity to unite with him no matter where my mind and heart have been.

My soul is eternally longing for my God

Doing what I was created for, I love him in return.

God speaks

God speaks loudest in the middle of the storm.
He whispers in the day to day comings and goings.
But his power is made manifest in the weakness of humankind.
The trials seem great but it is God who is proven greater.
Peace in the middle of the storm, God holds the hand of each one of His children.

The peace of God

He gave me the peace of God
he gave me the peace that never ends
he gave me an everlasting rest that I can take part in right now
he gave me something that will never end he gave me a home
he gave me a heart
he gave me a new body
he gave me a new mind and he told
me to come and take part in the peace of God
the peace of God that never ends that I'll never give away to anything
that will never fall down to stress
that will never fall down to heartache
Peace my friends, be still.

No longer under the Law

We are no longer under the law. But we need to see the importance of this statement by Jesus.
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. (Matthew 5:17 NKJV)

We now have Jesus in us. Let us seek not to destroy the law but to fulfill it.
I don't think anyone can fulfill the law as Jesus did, but why not try ?

Lets not become self righteous religious people. But let us be truly righteous, by following the King of Glory and the lover of our souls.

"For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:20 NKJV)"

Jesus is the most interesting man on the planet and He valued the Law and the Prophets who spoke of His coming and the times to come.
Let us as Christians follow suit.

A shifting of the eyes

It's insane that my health my emotion my spirit are all dependent on where my eyes are fixed. If they rest on the world and its troubles, it's lack of hope, it's brokenness and its apathy I become a creature of that world.

But if I shift my eyes to Jesus, my heart is flooded with light that causes the darkness of the world that was living there to flee. It was as if the darkness never existed at all. I am one again, with the ONE.

I feel like Jesus didnt just die to do away with sin, he did it so I could relate to him and he to me.
Just as he shifted his eyes to his disciples and told them "follow me" I can shift my eyes to him again and again and say " I surrender"

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy that was set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. (Hebrews 12:1-3 NIVUK)"

True peace only comes through true authority

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’ Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. (Mark 4:39 NIVUK)
