A new thing

"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
Isaiah 43:19

Tonight God revealed to me that he is always up to something. His kingdom is not stagnant and idle. It will continue to grow into eternity. JESUS CANNOT BE STOPPED.  Even if we are afraid and not willing to follow where or how the Holy Spirit is leading. The Spirit cannot be stopped, nothing will stop the progress and breakthroughs of heaven on the earth.
God is going to the dry places and splashing them with the Living Water and with the joy peace and love of his Holy Spirit. Jesus is being made famous. We are in a time when everyone will hear the good news, that death has been defeated, that the accuser now stands condemned by the righteous judgement of God.

If you feel that God is not doing anything in your life or the lives around you, it's not because the Holy Spirit isn't doing His job. It might be because you aren't letting Him do his job. Which is To help you !

Have Peace , be still. Let the counselor be your friend. Invite him into your life and give him control.

He only says what the Father tells him, and the Father is always moving and always doing something New.

"Nevertheless, I am telling you the truth. It is for your benefit that I go away, because if I don't go away the Counselor will not come to you. If I go, I will send Him to you."
John 16:7

God is doing something new right now ! WONT You PERCEIVE IT ?

Blessings to you who are reading this.
And all glory and power and honor to the one True King.
JESUS
Amen

Jesus , it's all about Jesus

The Church is not a building.
It's a body , Jesus is the Head.
Religion was made by man, but true religion can only be found in Jesus.
it's easy to get caught up in theology, something also made by man.
If something confuses you about Christianity or Religion, ask Jesus about it. He has a way of clearing things up and showing you the truth. That its all about Him.

I don't know why I wrote this or who I wrote it for.

I just want everyone to know Jesus and to see what He can do for them.
Once you see all He has to offer, you may want to ask what you have to offer Him.

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Come to Him, He's waiting.

The supremacy of Christ

Jesus is bigger than your problems.

"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven." (Colossians 1:15-20 NASB)

Jesus tells it like it is

Remember what I told you: I am going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really loved me, you would be happy that I am going to the Father, who is greater than I am. I have told you these things before they happen so that when they do happen, you will believe. “I don’t have much more time to talk to you, because the ruler of this world approaches. He has no power over me, but I will do what the Father requires of me, so that the world will know that I love the Father. Come, let’s be going. (John 14:28-31 NLT)

Jesus makes it clear that satan has no power over Him. If Jesus lives in us then satan has no power over us.

Amen

Priestly Worship

This is a little explanation and some of my thoughts on worship in the Christian church today.
It is intended for anyone in the church or outside of it, but will probably be most beneficial to those involved in worship ministry.

I have been actively involved in what Christians today call "worship" for about 15 years now.  Both my parents were part of the worship team at my original home church for years and my dad still plays weekly on the worship team.  Over the years there have been worship leaders and musicians that I've shared Sunday mornings with in musical worship who have taught me valuable lessons on ushering the body or congregation into an encounter with God in which they can give Him all the glory and attention He deserves.
There is however one approach to worship that I learned and developed independently of other worship team members and learned from both studying the Word and just spending quality time with Jesus and worshipping.

Priestly Levitical Worship is what I seek when I prepare for a Sunday service or any sort of gathering involving musical worship.
I call it this because I believe when we are preparing songs and praying over our services as worship leaders, we are preparing the church or tabernacle or the physical bodies of each member which house the Holiness of God to truly worship Jesus.

For me setting up sound equipment, tuning my guitar, organizing practices and reworking set lists,  photocopying sheet music and soaking it all in prayer is  preparing the altar for a sacrifice, just as the Priests of the Old Testament did. Once the worship set starts the fire is lit and  all my time, work and sacrifice is offered up to The Lord as I lead the body in worship.

"And the priest shall burn all on the altar as a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord." (Leviticus 1:9 NKJV)

It's good to be musically pleasing and to play songs that your congregation can more easily worship to but every time I lead worship my eyes close and I am alone with Jesus and He is pleased with the aroma of my worship because I don't try and give him something I don't have. I am content just being with Him and letting my love flow.

Thankfully Jesus the High Priest over all creation performed the final sacrifice on our behalf and we no longer have to rely on the Levitical codes and laws.

Our love is a pleasing aroma to our Lord.
